Why are affirmations SO important?

The inspiring and positive words can be used as a tool to combat any anxiety or fear you may have about the future. By implementing your affirmations in the morning you are starting your day off on an extremely positive note!
If you are just beginning to use affirmations, the best way to get started is by choosing a small group affirmations that resonate with you the most and verbally repeat them every morning while looking in your mirror as you get ready. Research has proven that it takes about twenty-one days to reprogram your brain, so this will need to be part of your morning routine for about three weeks. For those of you that are new to affirming, it may feel a bit weird or even a little self-indulgent, huh? That’s a normal feeling to have when starting out, but you’ve got to FAKE IT TILL YOU MAKE IT, sista! Trust me, I was a little skeptical in the beginning too. But as time passed by, I came to realize how much of a positive impact affirmations had on my mindset. I found myself accomplishing more goals than I had thought possible in such a short amount of time. I feel more motivated and confident than I ever have, which is why I felt pulled to start this blog and share a little bit of my journey, so that YOU too can feel as motivated and confident as I have grown to be.
